Broken City (Mission is Open to All)

So in stead he just continued walking, but then looked back at Gwen and said, "If you want I'll carry Kyros for a while until we get there."

Gwen frowned, wondering what was upsetting Kiri. Nonetheless, she looked to Kaito, "Oh, that's okay, I've got him. We're almost there."

It wasn't much longer than the words were out of her mouth that she stopped at a large, round stone door carved with strange marks. She walked over and took one of her daggers and slipped it into an almost indistinguishable cut in the wall. As soon as Gwen pulled the dagger back out, the doors slid open, and she waded through the water inside. "Come on, it's a little dark, so once in, just wait until I turn the lights on to get out of the water."

Kaito nodded when she told him it was okay, but was happy that they were almost there. He then saw a large weird shaped stone in front of him. He then watched as Gwen stuck her dagger into a cut and the door opened up. "Thats quite the trick Gwen-chan!" He walked in and waited for her to turn on the lights so he could get out of the water.He then hoped that Kiri would hurry up and get in before the boulder came back down. "Um should we have left Kiri like that?"

ooc: Marlow, no way in hell was I wrong about the manga. Anyway, Kiri's off to die so he's leaving this topic.

[i]Kiri's golem began to make strange noises as he nursed the face wound he'd got when he fell, "what the hell?," he said, shaking the golem furiously, "C....me...o...Chi....a...Yos....ii....," a raspy voice was heard from his golem, a transmission from another exorcist perhaps? "Gr..they wont miss me," he said and ran the other way, leaving New York.

Kaito nodded and Walked up that stairs, "Yes, but i wonder if any of the generals will ge the call and arrive to help us out." When Kaito arrived into the real base he looked around and saw the marble floor. "Wow, you really made this place look great."

Kaito knocks on the wall to hear the osund of his fist banging against metal. "Impressive, i wonder what kind of security measures H.Q. has because komui-sama's komuibots." Kaito then has a quick flashback to the first time he met with one of komui's robots and a large siver ran down his spine. "Brghh,eh-um sorry about that i had quite the bad experience with komui-sama's robots."

Kaito looked at her with a terrified face. "You should consider yourself lucky then." He then heard her ask if the robots are as bad as rumor says. "Oh yea, worse than the rumors say. they won't stop attcking you until you destroy them... and once you do Komui goes nuts because you did that."

...Where am I...?

Christian stumbled through the city of ashes. His eyes watered as acrid smoke made there way in,
and the air was foul with decay, death and fire. Looking where he stood, he found that it was a
large road-or was a large road. Now it was just another slab of debris in a ghost city that burnt, always
burning. At his feet lay a battered teddy bear, missing a ear, dirty and abandoned. Its master was
probably buried under all these rubble.


Overhead the sky was gray and overcast- there was no way to tell if it was morning or night, shrouded
by the ominous clouds of gray smoke. Frowning, Christian carried on, not eager to remain in a city of
death like this too long. Akumas...he could sense the presence of Akumas everywhere, numbing his
sense of perception. Chris coughed out a wad of blood from his mouth- the after effects of his powers
still lingered about him. If Akumas were to take hold of him now... who knows what might happen.

Suddenly, Christian noticed the presence of living people around-close by too, judging by how he could
sense the presence through the overwhelming scent of the Akumas. He headed in the general direction,
eager to see perhaps a survivor or two.

A large figure loomed into view from behind the smog- a Level 2 Akuma, in the form of a large, grinning
Monkey with six mechanical arms and no tail, with the howling white face typical of Akumas over its right
eye. Cursing, Christian dodged behind a large rock, not eager to attract unwanted attention.

Dammit, he swore, just when I'm so near...he was certain, the others he had felt was only a small distance
away...now the Akuma posed a probelm.
