Personality: Dominique is not altogether cold towards others, but can simply be described as distant. She does not enjoy socializing with people too much, and normally keeps to herself, keeping polite conversations if she is drawn into one, and sometimes potentially sadistic, idly commenting on morbid subjects such as death and blood, frequently her own. She normally sees people as mere 'acquaintances', but when she finds it in herself to call someone a friend, she is loyal to the death, and will open herself up slightly to them. She is also an extremely neat person, disliking things to be out of place or dirty, describing it to 'feel extremely uncomfortable and alien'. Dominique also has something called Tactile Dysfunction, which means that she often changes between being under responsive and over responsive to touch. Because of that, she sometimes cannot feel pain in battle, which she thinks as lucky, despite the fact that she has almost died of blood loss more than once just because she could not feel the pain of a wound. Incidentally, she has a habit of going down on all fours and bounding around like a cat at times, and towards her friends, has a slightly warped sense of humor.

Likes: Kittens, heavy rain, snow, the taste of blood (hers), nice people, her brother.

Dislikes: Earthworms, flowers with fragrances, loud noises, loud people, hot weather.

History: Dominique was born in a small town in London. Ever since she was born, she was thought to be a lucky star, as in the hour she was born, a serial killer who had killed numerous people after raping them was caught. Her parents thought of her Tactile Dysfunction as a small setback in their daughter, but other than that, it almost seemed as though their daughter had all the luck in the world with her. Her father's job as a businessman went uphill since she was born, and the townsfolk in general thought her to be the luck bringer sent by god.

When Dominique was eight, her mother gave birth to a second child, a boy whom she let Dominique name Raye. Raye had the same Tactile Dysfunction as Dominique, and she loved him dearly.

Meanwhile, she herself was growing up to be a fine woman, with her long, light brown hair and her warm, charming smile. Everything changed on the day before her seventeenth birthday.

She was at the local museum with her family when Akumas attacked. Her father was one of the first victims, one of the Akumas being a man who was standing right beside him. Dominique reacted quickly, grabbing her younger brother by the wrist and calling for her mother to run, but her mother was also killed, jumping in front of a bullet that was aimed for Dominique. The latter had not had time to register the fact that her mother, too, was dead, so continued running with her brother. She ran past a painting of a scythe, which had contained the innocence, and the scythe took a physical form. At that point, an Akuma's bullet exploded in front of her and her brother, separating them, and Dominique was knocked unconscious. When she awoke, she found herself lying in a hospital bed in a town that she did not know of. A finder had left a message to her, saying that she seemed to be compatible with the Innocence, and told her to go to the Black Order Headquarters. Dominique had tried to find out what had happened to her brother, but failed, and resigned to getting rid of as many Akumas as possible, with the reason of reducing the chance of her brother being killed.

Dominique looked over her shoulder at the little boy sitting at the roadside, tears streaming down his dirty cheeks. Dominique did not even notice the small waterfall of blood flowing down from her left forearm as she stepped towards the boy and crouched down.

"Where is your family, boy?" Dominique's voice was calm and soft, portraying no emotion. Her eyes, however, were wide with sympathy.

"I- I don't know... I- I - I think they were h-hit... by those... those..." the boy choked back sobs, unable to continue, the tears never stopping its relentless flow down his cheeks. Dominique, not knowing what else she could do, patted him on the head lightly, then stood up again, propping her glowing scythe over her shoulder. She looked down at her arm, noticing the blood and the pain for the first time.

"Deactivate," she muttered as she gingerly licked the blood from her arm.

I'd better get a band-aid for it... she thought as her scythe's soft, black glowing ceased and the blade snapped into the rod, melting into it.

Those "one-liners" you speak of are supposed to be like that because of the dialogue. Look in a book and you'll see it done the same way. You're not supposed to write dialogue and then just keep on going. You need breaks.

Tikkie, i don't remember setting a line minimum to rp sample. We cannot judge our members by their rp skills, because they are here to make them better. Just because somenbody writes less than you do, doesn't mean they are worse rp'rs. So basically rp smple can be a one liner, but it's there only to show us the level of the players skills. This one is not all that bad, and i'm sure this one will also get a lot better too, so can it, Tikkie and untained. Not everyone writes rp's with paragraphs or some other stuff like that.

About the character: in my opinion it's really well-made, actually I loved the Tactile Dysfunction idea, it's really great and very creative. I also liked the reasoning, the events that made your character become an Exorcist and her reason to kill the Akuma. The way you expressed yourself in the History part, I just loved it, even though I couldn't tell you why. So overall this is a nice character, that should be approved without a problem...

Tyki and Untainted, most of the time it really is a bad thing, when a person's posts are too short, but in this case it's not a problem. As Hiruna-chama (Lenalee) said, there is no line minimum for the RP Sample part. I created the template and I had a reason for creating it like that. I want the members of this site to become better at RPing while they are here. Maybe it might give them confidence in their abilities if they see their first RP post on the forum (the RP Sample for their character) and compare it to one of their recent posts. Maybe it wasn't a good idea, but that doesn't change the fact, that there really is no line minimum for the RP Samples, which gives you no right to disapprove the character.

So, I think I will take the opportunity and give you my approval. Have fun on the site, hope you will make new friends!

I just wanted to tell you WHY i'm so on the edge. I happen to know for a fact that youd just start shooting stuff like "You got angry with no reason" or "Why did you get angry so SUDDENLY" I'll have you know that i've been pissed for the whole start of the week, and it doesn't look any better, so don't make me angry any further. Now, if anyone else has a problem with me, take it to pm, I'm locking this topic.
