Level 1 † Virtue
When not activated, there are two black crosses on each of Cassiel's shoulder blades that have a slight green glow to them. The glow is the Innocence embedded deep within his shoulder blades. If his weapon gets broken or damaged, both Cassiel's back and shoulders (and, in turn, arms) become injured.
With his Innocence activated, a pair of silvery "angel wings" burst from the crosses on his back. With these wings, Cassiel is capable of flight and can reach the speed of sound, leaving sonic booms in his wake. The light feathers of his wings also possess a very slight healing property and can help heal minor wounds and relieve the pain of some more serious ones.
Since he doesn't really have any usable weapon most of the time, Cassiel takes another approach in being an exorcist and supports his allies by healing them, distracting akuma, or shielding them against attacks with his wings. If he really needs to play on the offense, he can dive bomb akuma or destroy them with massive sonic booms, but the impact from dive bombing hurts... a lot.
When emotions are intense enough, Cassiel's wings will actually transform into a large sword for a short period. The transformation takes a minute to complete, but when it does, Cassiel can be a little scary. Anger is the usual trigger for this and an angry little person with a sharp object in hand never had good results for the victim.
Special Attack: Reaper Crash: An attack that can only be used when Cassiel's anger triggers. In this attack, Cassiel flies as high as he can above the enemy before diving down towards it at the speed of sound while, at the same time, transforming his wings into a sword and swooping down to impale the enemy and then go on fighting with his sword. This attack can only be used once per activation.
Level 2 † Sin
At this level, Cassiel's wings go from silvery white to black. No longer can his Innocence be compared to an angel... unless it's the angel of death, maybe. After all, his wings are able to transform at any time he wishes now, into a scythe. When in scythe mode, Cassiel cannot fly.

Level 3 † Repentance
Instead of two black crosses on his back, there are now four. Activating his Innocence brings forth two pairs of wings. One silvery white and angelic, the other black and ominous looking. Together, they make Cassiel even faster and able to transform the black wings into his scythe while still being able to fly.

Critical Breaker † Seraphim
Reaching its full potential after getting up to 100% sync rate, Cassiel now has three pairs of crosses on his back. That's six cross marks in all. When activated, he still only has four wings. The black wings are able to turn into a large sword and the white wings can become a shield. Once the two pairs of wings are transformed a new pair of wings emerge, golden in color and twice as large as the former ones.
